Official Google Blog: Introducing Gmail for mobile 2.0
Whether we lost signal on the subway or turned our phone's wireless connection off on an airplane, now no longer have to wait to read and compose our Gmail or Google Apps email on your phone. Yesterday, Google happily introduced Gmail for mobile 2.0, designed to be faster and more reliable in low signal areas and to even support basic offline access on phones like the Nokia N95, Sony Ericsson W910i, and BlackBerry Curve. This latest version of Gmail for mobile also allows us to access multiple Gmail or Google Apps email accounts from the same application.
